Liz Rose’s Fun and Proud Jewish Style
Kitschy hairclips, Israeli denim, and lots of good jewelry keep @jewishlyliz decked out online and IRL

Hi GOLDA gang,
We’ve got a lot going on here at GOLDA HQ. We’re cooking up some exciting New York events for Hanukkah, which we’ll tell you more about soon. And I’m back on the road, moderating events and speaking to communities all over the country.
I’m heading to Minneapolis for ProCon 2025, a gathering for JCC professionals from across North America. Tomorrow I’ll be interviewing Barak Hermann, the new president and CEO of the JCC Association, as part of the conference’s closing session. Let me know if there’s someone from your local JCC I should look out there!
Then on Tuesday, Nov. 11, I’ll be back at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan in conversation with Wharton professor and economist Corinne Low about her new book, Having It All: What Data Tells Us About Women's Lives and Getting the Most Out of Yours. I’d love to see you there.
Today we’re featuring one of my favorite people on Instagram: Liz Rose, aka @JewishlyLiz. What I love about Liz is that her videos show how much fun she has being Jewish–whether it’s dancing around her kitchen while baking challah or rocking her ‘Jewish American Southern Baseball Momcore” looks.
She’s also incredibly stylish. I called Liz to ask about her Jewish style, and how it’s become such a central part of her online persona.
“I want to very clearly show that I'm Jewish, and that I'm a proud Zionist,” she explained. “I do that in my everyday life, and that spills over onto my Instagram page. It's also important for me to support businesses that are Jewish or that are Israeli.”
And she knows she doesn’t need to sacrifice style for substance: “I want to look proudly Jewish, and also look really cute doing it.”
Here are Liz Rose’s favorite fun and stylish Jewish looks:
I just got a new claw clip from Moo G Clips that I love. It's pearly pink with the Star of David outline in gold, and It also comes in a cream pearl. It's a great way to do a half-up, half-down hair situation, which is perfect for when my hair is a mess from being a mom and running around. They also have clips that say cute things like “Chutzpah” or “Shalom.”
I have a necklace called the Liz that Miriam Merenfeld named after me. I love it. It's a paper clip chain with a Star of David with a little diamond in the middle. It’s the perfect size—not too big, not too small. I get compliments every single time I wear it.
Ubab is an amazing artist, and he also has a clothing brand. He makes these hats that are hand-painted with beautiful designs on them. And they're super cute.
ATA Wear jeans are so good. The fit is great. They're these perfect non-stretch jeans, but they're so comfortable. My favorite part is they put their label, which is in Hebrew, on the belt loop, so you can put your belt through the label and it's visible when you have a shirt tucked in.
I love Alex Woz. His art is just so fabulous. He's very intellectual. We've spent some time in Israel together, and he is just a very smart, proud Jew. I love this T-shirt of his that says “Stop arguing with antisemites online,” because I totally understand the urge to just clap back at people online. My whole entire page is about being Jewish. I get so much hate, but you're not going to get anywhere arguing with antisemites online. Protect your energy.
This sweatshirt is a favorite of mine. I like the crew neck version, with the matching sweatpants. I have it in taupe, but I like if I looked good in light pink (I look heinous in light pink), I would get the light pink set for sure. I wear it to bed. I wear it in public. It's so good.
My favorite ring is the Rachie Shnay Mazel Ring, but it has to be the baguette one. It is so sparkly and pretty. My sister and I trade jewelry when we’re sitting next to each other at shul, and my niece gets in on it too. We put on each others’ jewelry–and they always want this one.
I love everything from Adara Rituals, but this is the perfect hostess gift.
